Fully featured Lockbox functionality

Creditron Lockbox provides Creditron ItemAge Express users with a scalable, high performance add-on module specifically designed for providers of Retail and Wholesale Lockbox processing. Creditron Lockbox provides leading edge lockbox provider technology most commonly found in only the largest of institutions but tailored and priced for low to medium volumes.

Lockbox Customer Management

Creditron Lockbox will give lockbox providers a distinct competitive edge by being able to market and deliver specific and highly customized features to each and every one of their customers.

Creditron Lockbox allows the lockbox provider the flexibility of providing each lockbox customer with a completely customized service. New customers are easily added using the Lockbox Customer Setup interface. Specific processing applications, reporting and billing options are then defined, customized and organized to that individual customers needs.

Billing & Profit Analysis

Billing and Profit Analysis allows lockbox providers to track billable items and obtain detailed billing and profit analysis reports (based on identifiable inputted costs) by customer and date range. Billable items and rates can be configured uniquely for each customer set up. The system can be configured to accept billable items occurring outside the remittance processing system such as courier charges as well as automatically keeping track of billable items counted by the system( e.g. items processed, batches processed, keyed items etc..) Weekly and monthly recurring charges can also be uniquely defined and tracked. Statistics accumulated can also be utilized to assist in the fine tuning of billing procedures and to identify additional revenue opportunities.

Powerful Billing and Profit Analysis feature allows user to set up customized billing schedule for each customer as well as track identifiable costs.

Auto Messaging

Auto Messaging allows the lockbox provider to send unlimited enhanced reports, image statements, data files and notifications to lockbox customers through email, fax, printed report or ftp site. Notifications can also be sent internally to an operator or manager or anyone through an IP address on a networked computer. Message types can be set to run at specific times or instantly and sent without operator intervention. (Once defined, these messages are run in the background using the Creditron LAMA Manager and are executed without operator intervention.)

Auto Messaging delivers powerful messaging functionality without operator intervention.

Flag File Management

Creditron Lockbox comes standard with powerful Flag File capability. The Flag File features allows for importation of lists of account numbers or other criteria for which payments are to handled in an alternative fashion. An example of this functionality would be a "don’t process" file. The system, in this case, could be configured so that each time it matches one of the account numbers in the file; the matched payment is rejected/ not processed. In conjunction with Auto Messaging, the lockbox customer could be immediately notified by the sending of an email or fax message (check/stub image included). The system allows for importation of multiple files of one or more records with differing processing and messaging options. The system provides a utility for manually importing the file as well as adding and removing individual account numbers.

Advanced Application Management

Specific processing applications are defined and organized by lockbox customer. To save time, applications can be selected from pre-defined templates and customized as required. In addition, applications defined for one specific lockbox customer can be saved as a template and utilized by other lockbox customers as required.

Enhanced Operator Instructions

The lockbox provider can provide Payment Processing Operators with specific processing instructions by customer, processing application and/or by specific defined criteria. For example, an operator may need to be on the lookout for a payment over $5,000.00 on account number 567-675 for a specific lockbox customer. If that criteria is matched the operator could have a message "pop up" on their screen suggesting a specific processing rule or ad-hoc instruction.

• Upload Maker — is an optional utility that provides the lockbox provider with the ability to format the output data from the remittance processing function into a customized format.
• Report Maker — is an optional utility that allows the lockbox provider to write highly customized reports.
• Web Inquire — is an optional software package that allows lockbox customers the ability to view their processed images over the internet.
• Shrink Wrap — is an optional software package that allows lockbox providers to create a turnkey image CD for lockbox customers.
