Speakers will include Norma Miller, Division Manager UCS/MRC for the City of Carrollton, TX and Todd Baum, SunGard's Product Manager for Click2Gov and NaviLine.

Norma Miller will provide a case study on the opportunities and challenges the City faced in automating their manual remittance process and how they achieved 50%+ gains in staff productivity. Norma will also discuss how the UCS/MRC division operates as a central depository for the checks received by all departments of the City and how the initial automated system was upgraded in 2008 to include remote deposit via Check 21 & ACH. In conclusion, her discussion will include their future agenda for extending advanced remittance services to all departments.

Additionally, Todd Baum will share industry trends and anecdotes on the challenges SunGard clients and other remittance processors face, and how SunGard is helping to address these issues with new technologies and processes.

Amanda Hales of Purepay will demo our image-based software after which the presentation panel will respond to questions from our audience.
